Q&A because people actually wanted to ask me things

Heyooo everyone, so I really wanted to do this for a while but I genuinely didn’t think anyone would ask me any questions, but, much to my surprise, people did, and I thought it could be a bit of a get-to-know-me type thing for all the people who have been looking at my blog in this first month, this post doesn’t meed much explaining, so letsago!

Physical books or digital books?

I prefer being able to have a book so I can put it on my shelves and stuff, but I also love e-books for their convenience, it’s also really useful as I never like taking physical books out in case they get damaged

When did you get into reading?

I’ve loved reading for as long as I can remember, in primary school I was reading the books year 6 read in year 1 and 2, I was always the nerd that enjoyed ‘reading time’ and I’ve spent most of my life with a book in my hands

What is your favourite genre of book to read?

Fantasy is my absolute favourite but I also love contemporary when I’m in the mood

If you could bring one fictional character to life who would it be?

I’d love to have Dobby live in my house and just be a cutie and talk to me whenever i want, or maybe Luna Lovegood because there’d never be a dull moment, or Hermione so I could do my schoolwork with her (all from Harry Potter, what did you expect?)

Favourite and least favourite thing about school…

I love learning and revising and making my notes, I hate loud, disruptive people with bad attitudes and no consideration towards those who want to learn

Have you ever had a blog before?

Nope, this is my first ever time, BUT once I had an Emma Watson fan profile thing on a school website, if that counts

Favourite school subject?

I love English, like I actually look forward to going to my English lessons and I also really enjoy history

If you could travel anywhere in this world, where would you go and why?

Disney World/Land, because according to my mum, I’m too old, and the time for Disney parks has passed

What is your favourite song right now?

Superhero my my fav ever Lauv ❤

What are your plans for your blog/after school?

I want to leave school with top grades and then study English at a top university, in an ideal world be a writer, in a realistic world, do an extra year of uni where I study either law or psychology, I’d also love to go into marketing or events planning, which I could do with an English degree (I plan a lot)

As for my blog, this is my fun thing that I love to do and I want to keep it going considering it’s the only hobby I have besides reading

Favourite ice cream flavour?

I love strawberry, but only ever from my local ice cream place, otherwise I’m happy with whippy vanilla or a strawberry cornetto (but idk if that is a ‘flavour’)

What is your dream vacation?

If not Disney, I’d love to do Orlando resort or a huuuge shopping holiday in New York

How are you juggling school with blogging?

With great difficulty, if I’m not studying, I’m scheduling and then I promote posts in my break and lunch if I can

Any tips on how to maintain a blog while busy at school?

Don’t stress it, education is incredibly important and pick days where you post/write posts that you’re less busy on and also schedule exam season posts waaay in advance

What are your favourite things to do outside of reading?

Watching movies and (as sad as it sounds) writing up my notes to look pretty, and, of course, working on this blog

If you were alone on an island, what books would you take and why?

Some sort of survival guide, Harry Potter and a very mushy contemporary that I can live vicariously through

Favourite TV and book ships?

I honestly don’t watch many TV series, I watch more lifestyle-y type things BUT I do watch Supernatural and I DO ship Destiel. As for a book ship I don’t think I’ve ever rooted for a couple as hard as I did for Alina and Mal from Shadow and Bone, or maybe America and Maxon from The Selection

Favourite fictional family/siblings?

As cliche as it is, I have to say the Weasleys from Harry Potter or maybe the Grants from Save The Date

Biggest fear?

Birds, specifically pigeons, I can’t count the number of times I’ve very nearly ran in front of a car to avoid a pigeon being near me

What do you like the most about being in the blogging community?

I just think everyone is really nice and I like that we’re all so passionate about books and reading, which I literally never find with people I know

Genuinely have no clue, but I was looking at a couple of blogs (the first two on the list of faves) and I just thought that I’d love to do something like that, and then, without much thought, I started

Bananas (have to have the brown spots) and Pears (but only when they’re really soft)

Yes? I think? Because it’s cute and makes for all the good books and movies and everything

Winter because Christmas and my birthday and snow and music and hot chocolate and blankets and jumpers and darkness

Favourite genre of music?

Anything! Except mainstream pop and like country, I love rock and punk-y type things, but also R&B and Disney and CHRISTMAS SONGS (I listen to them in like May I’m not even ashamed)

What is your astrological sign and do you agree with what it says about you?

I was born on the 10th of December, which makes me a Sagittarius, I completely agree with some traits, and completely disagree with others, I’m not adventurous or extroverted or freedom-loving, I’m the complete opposite but I am sarcastic, (I think) I’m pretty sensitive at heart, I’m nice if you’re nice to me, loyal, and very good at detecting lies

What three adjectives do you feel describe you the best?

• awkward
• sarcastic
• tea (it counts, 60% of all human bodies is water, 60% of my body is tea)

If you could get me to read any book, what would it be?

I don’t know, part of me wants everyone to read my favourites and part of me wants to protect them, but probably any or all of the top ten that I listed before, or maybe a book that I hated, see here so that we could swap opinions and discuss

Does your whole family read?

I’m the only crazy reader in my family and I’m cool with it tbh

Who is your favourite superhero?

Well that’s an impossible question, buuuuuuut maybe Spiderman? or Thor? or anyone in the MCU, I love them all
