My Rating: ★★★★★
If you have been on the internet recently, you know that it has been taken over by these faces:
As to this day, I may or may not have watched this movie 9256465024520451 times… and so when Noura asked if I wanted to be a part of a blog tour where I had a perfect excuse to read and watch this… again, I of course said yes right away.
I LOVE THIS MOVIE SO MUCH I SWEAR TO GOD I’M ACTUALLY PHYSICALLY IN LOVE WITH IT. Whenever I watch this movie I literally find myself grinning like crazy and it just makes me feel so happy, and it’s not just the story, the entire aesthetic of this movie is so perfect and pretty, it’s the nicest thing in the world to look at, I’m now going to insert some artsy photos of watching this movie, enjoy also btw I didn’t watch this with people with me, but we basically all watched it and messaged throughout which was really nice it was also really dark whilst watching so the photos are rubbish❤
And here are some actual quotes from the friends I watched this with:
- ‘I love Peter’
- ‘This movie is soooo cute’
- ‘she took her scrunchie, she’s so rude’
- ‘HE SAID SHE LOOKS PRETTY’
- ‘uyu efqwietbcrwqitcbwrcgrxbeuwvdv acav hd hvf qcvg’
- ‘I’m deceased’
Have I mentioned how cute this movie is, yet? I actually like this movie more than the book in A LOT of aspects; for one, Peter is a lot less of a douche in the movie, for two, Lana Condor is the cutest thing in the world and is the perfect Lara Jean and for three, THE FACE MASK THING
I’d like to get my main complaint out of the way now:
When Lara and Peter get to the party, Peter takes her scrunchie and Lara tells him to look after it because it is her ‘favourite scrunchie’, Peter never gives it back and LARA NEVER NOTICES IT WAS GONE, TELL ME NOW, LARA, IF IT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE SCRUNCHIE, WHY DIDN’T YOU ASK WHERE IT WAS? Let me tell you, if someone so much as borrows a bobble, I will remember they took it for the rest if my life, let alone a favourite scrunchie. Okay, rant over.
This movie was amazing, and there were so many tiny parts of it that made the movie perfect, so i thought I’d list a few of those things:
- The pocket thing
- Everyone and their mother telling Lara that making brownies is easier than making cupcakes
- When Lara imagined Josh and he was full on just taking the mickey out of her letter
- Peter moving the popcorn
- Peter buying the ‘Korean yoghurt smoothie’ (it was literally Yakult, why did they call it that?)
- This:
- This:
- ‘woah woah woah woah woah’
I’m going to stop myself before I literally just list every single scene in this movie, because that would also work for me. To conclude, this movie is amazing and I genuinely love watching it so much, I thought it was just going to be another romcom to add to the neverending list of romcoms that I’ve watched, but nooope. I’m fully and completely in love with this movie. Have you watched this yet? Did you love it as much as everyone else, and most importantly, do you remember Noah Centineo when he looked like this:
Thank you so much for reading, I’m off to watch this again ❤
Also hi, last minute me here, a lot of people seemed into the idea of a Q&A post and I’d rly appreciate any questions so I don’t have to crawl into a hole because I’m embarrassed at getting 3 questions 🙂

I just finished the book and can’t wait to watch the move. Lara Jean and I have a date Wednesday.
I am sooooo glad the bieber hair went away. I never thought it made anyone cuter and you just published photographic evidence, so thank you!
I have to know, but don’t tell me, how the movie handles the ending. In the book, the only part I was depressed about was the lack of resolution, but then I realized this is a series. In a movie, I’m curious to see how this works. Thoughts?

Sounds amazing!! The Bieber hair, no matter how awful, will always be an iconic moment in the history of hair😂😂😂
I think the movie ended it well but I don’t want to spoil anything for you, youll have to let me know what you think of it after your date 😂💖
Thanks for reading xx

I absolutely loved this film! I might watch it again soon actually. The pocket twist thing was so cute! As everyone seemed to love it so much and it was hyped up, I wasn’t sure if I’d feel the same but I’m so glad I watched it x

I know! Not to be dramatic but the pocket thing is one of the best things in this entire universe lol, and this film is definitely worth all the hype imo x

Idk, I feel like the transitions were too fast. The growth of Lara Jean & Peter’s relationship wasn’t given focus. Plus, I wish there were more of the Song girls. I also find Peter in the movie quite different than Peter in the book. Peter in the movie was too soft & sweet lol. I still like it tho

Don’t kill me but I haven’t neither watched the movie nor read the books. I’M FAILING AT LIFE I KNOW. I’m just so happy that many people like this adaptation. Based on the feedbacks, I can actually conclude that this movie is a good adaptation. We need more of those in the bookish community tbh. Books deserve the best adaptations!

I actually forgot to take photos while I was watching it so the popcorn was stale by the time I was taking them😂😂 it was great while it was hot though lol
