I promised I’d do my book haul/holiday TBR, but I’m watching Bambi and I’m feeling Disney, and I recently found out that the Disney Book Tag was a thing, so here we are…
The Little Mermaid: a character who is out of their element, a ‘fish out of water’
For this question, I decided on Ron Weasley, I feel like he always lived a really cosy and protected family of life so when the Second Wizarding War started and he was thrown in to a much darker world, he was certainly out of his element, particularly when he was away from his family.
Cinderella: a character who goes through a major transformation
This one is easy; Celeana/Aelin from Throne of Glass, it was a terrible and badly written transformation, but a major transformation nonetheless.
Snow White: a book with an electric cast of characters
Six of Crows, need I say any more? If you’re looking for amazing books with amazing-er characters, Leigh Bardugo is the girl for you.
Sleeping Beauty: a book that put you to sleep
Wild Beauty by Anna-Marie McLemore, this book was just waaaaay too much fluffy description and I found it so boring, I skimmed the last 100-ish pages and I still understood everything just fine.
The Lion King: a character who had something traumatic happen to them in childhood
I read fantasy mostly, so this is like every character ever.
Beauty and the Beast: a beast of a book that you were intimidated by, but found the story to be beautiful
I don’t know if this is just me, but I’m never really intimidated by the size of books so I don’t really have an answer. BUT I can say I was intimidated by Warcross because everyone loved it so much and i thought I wouldn’t, but I can safely say it’s one of my favourite books ever.
Aladdin: a character who gets their wish granted, for better or worse
Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games, the epilogue from Mockingjay is so beautiful but nobody talks about it and it kills me. It was like I had been through so much crap with Katniss, and my baby was finally happy and it was so perfect.
Mulan: a character who pretends to be something or someone they are not
Eleanor from Eleanor and Park pretends she’s not the most irritating bitch on the planet if that counts.
Toy Story: a book with characters you wish would come to life
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carol, look me in the eyes and tell me you would say no to having tea with the Mad Hatter.
((this gif is so creepy omg lol))
Disney Descendants: your favourite villain or morally ambiguous character
Legend from Caraval is the best villain ever I love him so much I have a problem please help me.
((couldnt get a gif bc wow this film looks awful))

I never manage to play along when I’m watching/reading tags, whenever I write these I’m literally sat in front of my bookshelves for the longest time trying to pick an answer 😂😂
Also I hate that gif I kind of want to change it but I also think it’s funny 😂
